Hello and welcome to Annie Rose’s Sunshine.
My name is Adrianne and I live in a quaint little town in Northeast Georgia called Ringgold. It’s a cute little town that has grown considerably in the last 10-15 years to a population of over 3,500. If you are a history buff you may know Ringgold is where The General stopped during The Great Locomotive Chase in 1862, and the site of The Battle of Ringgold Gap in 1863. With the exception of my college years, I have lived in Ringgold my entire life and I love watching the sun rise over Taylor’s Ridge, which is named after a Cherokee Indian Chief. Ringgold is rich in history and most of my family grew up and still lives in Ringgold as well.
This is the first blog I have ever written, and I am really excited to share little tidbits of my life with you. Here you will find posts about things that I make and craft projects I take on as well as hidden vintage treasures I stumble upon. I am a bit of an old soul, and I have a very eclectic style. I have an Etsy shop which has been in business for over 5 years. I love living in the country, music, animals, traveling, gardening, nature, etc. I will be writing about these things that I love and the things that inspire me which is what Annie Rose’s Sunshine is to me.
Annie Rose is my grandmother’s name, and she was such a light in my life and to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She sang “You Are My Sunshine” to me as a child, and it is a special song that is near and dear to my heart. I miss her beautiful voice, her wise words, and the happiness that she brought into my life and so many others. To me, she was a piece of sunshine and inspiration. It puts a smile on my face every day I see those 3 little words, Annie Rose’s Sunshine, and I hope it does the same for you as well.
