Welcome

Welcome to my blog, Annie Rose’s Sunshine.   This is my first blog I, and I am really excited to share little tidbits of my life with you.  I will be blogging about life in general, my opinions, decorating, home improvement projects, running a small business, thrifting, and anything that I feel is worthy of a blog post.  🙂   I am a bit of an “old soul”.  I live in the country with my husband and our pet family.  My small business started on Etsy in 2011 selling handmade jewelry, ornaments, and vintage decor.  I  am now selling on eBay as well. My hobbies include music, photography, anything to do with animals and the great outdoors, gardening, and cooking from scratch. 

Annie Rose is my grandmother’s name, and she was such a light in my life and to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.  She sang “You Are My Sunshine” to me as a child, and it is a special song that is near and dear to my heart.  I combined her name and the song for my business name.  I miss her beautiful voice, her wise words, and the happiness of her presence.  She was one of those special people who burned bright in this world.  It puts a smile on my face every day I see those 3 little words, Annie Rose’s Sunshine, and I hope it does the same for you as well.
